Norfolk Plumbing wants to help you understand how your water heater works so that you can recognize problems should they arise.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Types of Water Heaters&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are several different types of water heaters, in this blog, we\u2019ll briefly describe each of the 5 types.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Conventional storage water heaters: <\/strong>these offer a tank of heated water ready to use&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Tankless water heaters:<\/strong> these heat the water directly so there is no storage involved&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Heat pump water heaters:<\/strong> these move heat from one place to the next without actually directly heating the water<\/li><li><strong>Solar water heaters:<\/strong> these use the sun to heat the water&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Tankless coil water heaters:<\/strong> these use your home\u2019s space heating system to heat water<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re interested in learning more about the type of water heater you have in your home and if it\u2019s right for your needs contact Norfolk Plumbing. The water is pulled in through the dip tube where it\u2019s heated in the tank. The heated water is then ready for you to use whenever you need it.
